As a college student, I am all about re-using outfits in versatile ways and getting as much use out of them as possible.

Here is an example of how I wore a maxi dress to two different occasions.

The first combination I wore on a more casual day with flats in order to be able to walk around a lot.

I tied it up on the side so that it wouldn't get in the way and I wouldn't step on it. The knot on the bottom of the dress, jean jacket, and flats definitely contributed to making it more casual.

The second way I wore it was in a simple, more elegant way for a formal occasion. I paired it up with hot pink heels (to complement my lipstick :) ) and a different hairstyle to dress it up.
