Hi friends! Here is an outfit that I wanted share with you! This is a great example of how it's fun to mix things up and pair up a top with a skirt so that it would look like a dress!

This combination is perfect for an evening out with friends, a trip to a restaurant, a date, or for an occasion that's a couple steps above casual haha The reason why I love this outfit is it's so comfortable! I love feeling comfortable while looking put together. This is why you often see me post skirts and dresses > pants.

Since the top and the skirt are the same color it creates an elongating effect which is also a plus when I am just 5'2"!

I also love these two items separately! This Free People shirt (last seen here) is great for wearing it with jeans, shorts, or jean skirt! The details on the sleeves are so beautiful that they will dress up whatever outfit you decide to style with the top. I've had this skirt for years and it's amazing for casual outfit with a simple t-shirt or a nicer blouse! Definitely my go-to piece during summer!
