I feel like jumpsuits are often overlooked. It's such an original piece of clothing that you don't need a lot of effort to style it just like a dress! It's one piece so you don't need to worry about finding what would go well with it like you would when trying to pair up a top and a bottom. Isn't that great?! I have received questions and concerns about how hard it is to find a jumpsuit with that fits right and is versatile.

My recommendation would be to buy a jumpsuit in a solid color. It will be easier to wear it to more occasions.

If you buy it in a bold print it might not be appropriate to wear anywhere. It is also easier to find accessories for a solid colored jumpsuit.

Don't get a jumpsuit that's skintight. No matter what size you are it's just isn't smart to buy a skintight jumpsuit if you want to be able to wear it to various kinds of occasions. So if you are debating which size to get, and the size you are trying on is tight, go a size up. It would be easier to style jumpsuit that's a little bit baggy with a belt than feel uncomfortable in a tight jumpsuit.

Try to avoid clingy materials such as polyester, spandex or pleather. I would recommend cotton or soft knitted jersey for jumpsuits. Don't get discouraged if you have been looking for a jumpsuit for a while with no luck! One day you will find that perfect jumpsuit, that will be just right!

Don't get a jumpsuit that's difficult to put on. Remember it's a one-piece item, so you will need to take it off when you go to the bathroom during the day. The ones with straps, a zipper or a couple of buttons should be the best.

In this case, I wore a jumpsuit in a casual way for a stroll in the park with my family. I wore sandals and a cardigan. To keep it simple, I only added a bag and sunglasses. However, this cardigan could have also been great to dress up with a pair of pumps, a blazer, and a statement necklace. Here is how I wore this jumpsuit last year two other ways.
