Happy Labor Day Weekend! I ended up taking a couple days off leading up to the weekend and flew to Virginia to spend a much-needed time with my family. It has been so relaxing.
Labor Day is one of those holidays that always sneaks up on me! I forget to plan in advance what to wear and order my things in time for them to get here before the holiday weekend begins. If you are like me and didn't get a chance to buy an outfit for the LD festivities there are some easy ways to come up with a red, white, and blue outfit. While this was shot back in NYC, I put this outfit from some things that I have had in my closet for a while.
I used a white dress as my base piece and added denim jacket as the blue part, and a statement scarf and lipstick for red. Using a white dress as the base or denim shorts / skirt is an easy way to start the outfit. If you choose to go with a pair of denim shorts, simply add a white tee and accessorize you outfit with red things such as lipstick, clutch, scarf, statement earrings etc. Similarly with a white dress, add a denim jacket to it or something red and you are all set. Another easy option, is to reuse your 4th of July outfit or at least use part of it ;)
