Happy Thursday! Spring is in the air. I love all the blooming trees. This beautiful tree bloomed in our front yard and it has been such a highlight of the daily walks that I have been taking as my break during the day. What have you been doing for breaks to stay motivated as you wfh?
This outfit looks like a two-piece set but it's actually a jumpsuit linked here. I love the ruched detail at the top. If you know me or have been following the blog for a while, you know how much I love jumpsuits. I think jumpsuits are great for any occasion. They are a statement piece that creates a striking look from head-to-toe that goes beyond a simple dress, or a top-and-bottom combo and moves into a more fashionable territory. I also think that it's easier/faster to choose a jumpsuit rather than put together a two-piece outfit that goes well together.
Jumpsuits can be tricky in finding the right fit. Here are some tips for finding the perfect fit for you. In general, most jumpsuits that are fitted at the waist and looser around the legs tend to be the most flattering. If you wear wide-leg jumpsuit that is not cropped with a pair of heels this visually elongates your leg and is more flattering than cropped or skinny-leg fit. If you have a short torso, I recommend choosing a jumpsuit that has a loose fit at the top so that you can wear a belt around your waist and fold over any excess material over the belt.
